FLT Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established business based in
Doncaster.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in forklift trucks or similar mechanical equipment to join a supportive team with strong earning potential and opportunities for progression.
The Role As an FLT Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of forklift trucks and associated equipment, both in the workshop and out in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks to a high standard
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Attending breakdowns and completing on-site repairs when required
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely
- Completing job reports and maintaining accurate records
What We're Looking For - Previous experience working on forklift trucks, plant, HGV, or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
- Basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
