We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and driven Local Business Development Manager to join a successful and growing commercial vehicle operation covering Plymouth and Exeter.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional to take the next step in their career, managing and developing a local territory while building strong relationships with business customers. Whether you already have experience in van sales or come from a strong sales background, this role offers excellent earning potential and career progression.
The Role
As a Local Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities and managing customer relationships across your assigned area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing business customers
- Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to delivery
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Promoting finance, leasing, and aftersales products
- Representing the business within the local area and growing brand presence
What We're Looking For - Previous sales experience (automotive or van sales desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven with a proactive and self-motivated approach
- Ability to manage your own territory effectively
- Full UK driving licence
What's on Offer - Basic salary up to £52,500 with uncapped bonus potential

- Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:00
- Alternate Saturdays
