HGV Mechanic - Redditch
Our client is a well-established business with over 30 years' experience supplying plant equipment to the construction industry. Operating across the Midlands and beyond, they maintain a large and varied fleet including road sweepers, excavators, and vans.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team based in Redditch.
The Role
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a mixed fleet of vehicles and plant equipment, both in the workshop and on-site.
Key duties include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
• Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT
• Attending breakdowns and completing mobile repairs when required
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner

Requirements

• Qualified HGV Mechanic (or equivalent experience)
• HGV Category C licence preferred
• Experience with road sweepers (desirable, not essential - training provided)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Good time management and a proactive approach to work
