The Role
This is a hands-on, varied and influential role where you'll partner closely with business and operational leaders to deliver our people strategy and support a positive, high-performing culture.
You will play a key role in the full lifecycle of people management including lead HR operations, ER cases, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and people development, ensuring continuity and high standards across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
HR Operations & ER
- Managing day-to-day HR casework (absence, performance, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances)
- Producing monthly HR report to board of directors analyse HR & recruitment performance and compliance
- Ensuring documentation and processes remain legally compliant
Recruitment & Onboarding - Leading end-to-end recruitment including in regulated health and social care sector
- Overseeing pre-employment checks and smooth onboarding
- Supporting workforce planning and talent pipelines
People Partnering & Strategy - Acting as a trusted partner and advisor to senior business leaders
- Supporting people strategy, cultural development and improvement projects
- Providing data-driven people insights and recommendations
Learning, Development & Talent - Supporting skills mapping, development pathways and training needs
- Promoting a learning culture across the organisation
Engagement, Culture & Communication - Leading colleague engagement
- Supporting values, culture and communication initiatives
- Building strong, positive relationships across the workforce
Projects, Systems & Compliance - Supporting transformation projects and process improvements
- Ensuring compliance with employment law, GDPR and internal policies
- Maintaining HR systems, document control and filing structures
The Ideal Candidate - A confident HR generalist
- Skilled in recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning
- Experienced in managing ER cases independently
- Strong with HR data, reporting and dashboards
- Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
- Approachable, resilient and able to build trust quickly
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver to tight timescales.
- Confident managing partnerships and coordinating with stakeholders at all levels — including CEOs, Managers and external partners.
Desirable: - Experience in health & social care or multi-site environments
- CIPD level 5(or equivalent experience)
