Dental Sales Manager
Full Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced, commercially driven Dental Sales Manager to lead and optimise the full patient journey within a premium private dental practice.
This is a senior, performance-led leadership role designed for a commercially astute professional who understands consultative sales but, more importantly, can manage and elevate the entire patient experience from initial enquiry through to treatment acceptance and completion.
You will have end-to-end responsibility for the patient journey — overseeing enquiry handling, consultation standards, treatment presentation, finance discussions, and conversion performance. Leading a team of Treatment Coordinators (TCOs) and closers, you will ensure every patient interaction reflects practice standards while driving consistent growth and revenue performance.
This role is suited to someone who combines commercial confidence with patient-centred leadership — someone who can build high-performing teams, improve conversion metrics, and embed structure, accountability, and excellence across the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Journey Ownership
- Oversee and optimise the full patient journey from first enquiry through to treatment start and completion
- Ensure all patient touchpoints reflect the highest standards of care, communication, and professionalism
- Monitor enquiry handling, consultation quality, follow-up processes, and conversion outcomes
- Identify gaps in the patient experience and implement structured improvements
Sales & Commercial Performance - Drive treatment acceptance rates, revenue growth, and overall commercial performance
- Manage KPIs including enquiry-to-consultation conversion, consultation-to-treatment conversion, and case value
- Oversee finance discussions and ensure compliant, confident presentation of payment options
- Implement reporting systems to track pipeline, forecasting, and performance metrics
- Take full ownership of commercial outcomes and growth targets
Team Leadership & Development - Lead, coach, and develop a team of Treatment Coordinators (TCOs) and closers
- Set clear standards for consultation structure, follow-up discipline, and patient communication
- Deliver regular coaching, and performance reviews
- Recruit and scale the team as the practice grows
- Embed a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
About You - Essential Requirements - Proven experience in high-value, consultative sales environments (Dental or Healthcare preferred)
- Demonstrated success leading and developing sales or patient-facing teams
- Strong understanding of managing patient journeys within a private dental or healthcare setting
- Commercially driven with confidence in treatment presentation and finance conversations
- Data-led mindset with strong KPI management and reporting capability
- High level of emotional intelligence and professionalism in sensitive patient discussions
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and driven to grow both people and performance — while maintaining a genuinely patient-first, human approach
What's on Offer - Senior leadership role within a growing private dental practice
- Established workflows and systems already in place, providing a strong operational foundation
- Direct impact on practice growth and commercial performance
- Opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing TCO and patient coordination team
- Competitive salary up to £100,000, with performance-linked incentives
- Attractive company benefits package
