CNC programmer - wood machinist  - £15 - £18 DOE
We are recruiting for a company in West Yorkshire that specializes in a wide range of CNC machining, edgebanding, and panel processing services. Our commitment to quality and precision drives our operations. Summary
We are looking for a full-time Alphacam & Cabinet Vision Draughtsman to join our team
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years previous experience working in the cabinet making industry and have good software knowledge of Alphacam which is essential to the job role. Experience of Cabinet Vision is preferred but not necessary
To be considered for this position you must also be able to demonstrate good understanding of customer relations and be able to ensure correct conversion of a brief right through to production.
Working hours:
Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm
Friday 7am-3pm
Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Ensure quality control through inspections and measurements
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar rol
• Proficiency in operating CNC 5 Axis machines
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Alphacam
• Familiarity with Cabinet Vision is a plus
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
