An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Rural or General Practice Surveyor & Valuer to join our clients Professional Services team based in Tiverton.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of rural and general practice work across Devon and surrounding counties.
Undertake formal RICS Red Book valuations for a variety of asset types.
Provide expert advice on rural property and land matters, including:
Farm and Land Agency
Landlord and Tenant issues
Compulsory Purchase and Compensation claims
Grants, subsidies, and rural planning work
Pitch for and secure new professional instructions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, professionals, and local stakeholders.
Deliver clear, well-structured reports and advice in a timely and professional manner.
Manage your own caseload efficiently, ensuring work is completed to high standards and within deadlines.
Essential Requirements:
MRICS qualified with a minimum of 3 years PQE (ideally 5+).
Demonstrable valuation experience across rural, residential, or mixed-use property sectors.
Proven ability to manage multiple instructions and deliver consistently high standards of client service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to generate new business and develop lasting client relationships.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Desirable:
FAAV qualification (preferred but not essential).
Experience working within a rural or agricultural property environment.
