An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Blocks and Estate Management team as a Property Manager, working across Somerset, Devon, Dorset, and Cornwall.


The role is primarily based in Taunton, though hybrid working and flexibility between our regional offices will be considered. Regular site visits and client meetings are an essential part of this position.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional levels of customer service to clients, residents, and leaseholders.
• Contribute to the day-to-day running of the property management department.
• Carry out regular site visits, addressing both routine and emergency maintenance issues.
• Prepare for and attend AGMs, EGMs, and meetings with Directors or Residents' Associations.
• Manage service charge budgets, maintenance schedules, and contractor relationships.
• Maintain accurate property and financial records using departmental software systems.
• Deal efficiently and professionally with all leaseholder, tenant, and contractor correspondence.
• Ensure all blocks and estates under management are compliant with relevant legislation and standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Block Manager or Assistant Block Manager.
• Strong knowledge of block and estate management processes, legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel).
• Strong financial and budgeting skills.
• Exceptional organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence and daily access to a car (essential).

Desirable:

• Experience using Blocks Online software (advantageous but not essential).
• Membership or qualification with IRPM or RICS (preferred).
