Our client are a well established and trusted company with over 25 years of expertise and be part of their continued expansion in their sector.
Due to contract awards and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team to cover a portfolio of long-term commercial contracts.

Our client has been trading for many years and is a true industry leader, with expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of steam, hot water and air heating systems.
Job Purpose:
As the Commercial Gas Engineer you will be required to maintain services by delivering planned and reactive maintenance to an agreed programme.
To carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and carry out repairs

• To undertake gas servicing, repairs and maintenance
• To carry out other maintenance, repairs and remedial works as directed
• Call out duties via rota (paid door to door)
• To comply with safe working practices ensuring the safety of the workforce and public is maintained at all times
• To comply with the company's Health & Safety policy at all times and follow all related safe systems of work. Attend safety meetings, training and briefings as may be required

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience of working in the commercial gas industry
• Knowledge of plumbing & commercial gas engineering
• Repairs / servicing / maintenance and installation
• Experience as a suitably qualified heating/gas service engineer working in commercial and/or domestic premises
• A working knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems is essential, as the majority of works will be within plant rooms with all associated equipment
• Experience with routine maintenance of associated plant items such as pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels and valves
• Ability to use a PDA device

 
Qualifications Required:

• Suitably gas qualified
• Valid full driving licence
• DBS check required
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
