Overview
Our client is a successful family owned company who are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motorhome Service Technician to join us as part of our state of their art Workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients, carrying out Habitation Checks and fitting equipment, including electrical fitments, to customer motorhomes. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing our own motorhomes.
Duties

• Carrying out Annual Habitation Checks on customer motorhomes in accordance to industry guidelines and manufacturers specifications.
• Installation of accessories such as Awning, bike racks, TV aerials etc
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their needs and the services provided.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and client interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to the role.

Requirements

• Experience as a Service Technician in the motorhome or caravan industry is ideal but not essential
• Experience as a service technician or a handyman
• Strong skills in either electrics or plumbing
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
