Job Overview:
Role: Support Worker
Location: Dinnington - S25
Hours: Full Time: 37.5 per week
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Shift rota:
- Days: 7am until 3pm
- Afters: 3pm until 11pm
- Nights 11pm until 7am
- Other hours available
Part time hours, will also include evenings and weekends

About the Role:As a Support Worker, you’ll be a vital part of the daily lives of those you support. You'll provide both emotional and practical assistance to adults with:
- Learning disabilities and autism
- Challenging behaviours
- Sensory impairments and communication difficulties
Within your role you can expect to do the following responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, emotional support, and promote independence
- Assist with daily living tasks – cooking, cleaning, medication, etc.
- Encourage involvement in hobbies and activities (e.g. swimming, football, travel)
- Build trusting, positive relationships with individuals and their families
- Support during moments of crisis and celebrate personal achievements
- Work as part of a compassionate, values-driven care team
No two days are the same – rewarding, varied, and people-focused role
Full training provided – ideal for both experienced carers and those new to care
What You’ll Need: - A kind, compassionate, and proactive attitude
- Person-centred care approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Confidence supporting individuals with complex and challenging needs
- Previous experience in social care (desirable but not essential)
- Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (advantageous but not required)
- Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act (desirable)
