Job Details:
Location: Dinnington, South Yorkshire
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Days (7am - 3pm), Afters (3pm - 11pm), Nights (11pm-7am) - you will be expected to work a variation of all the shifts stated.
Pay: £13.78 per hour

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the support for individuals in all areas of their lives. These will cover the following main areas:
- Physical and psychological support
- To facilitate increased independence.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the service.
- Support for individuals with behaviours described as challenging
- Support for individuals with communication difficulties and sensory impairments
- Develop the staff team
- Report accidents/incidents accordingly.
- To work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team
- To identify risk and ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate risk.
What you will need to do the role successfully - A positive, can-do attitude.
- Person centred approach.
- Commitment to lifestyle and activities promotion (football, swimming, cooking, travelling etc)
- Line manage a team of direct support staff through supervision, appraisal, coaching and advice, ensuring training needs of the team are met.
- Be proactive, professional and able to deal with people at all levels.
- Great support planning skills (desirable).
- Exceptional communications skills.
- Prior experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and intensive behavioural support needs (desirable).
- Ideally you will hold a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent. (not essential)
