Quality Checker £11.44 - £11.84
 
Working as part of the Inspection team, the Quality Checker will support our current Quality Control Inspectors on day-to-day duties helping to ensure the quality of the products and services in accordance with specifications.
 
This support will be conducted daily on items in production as well as finished product to ensure all products comply with requirements.
 
The daily duties include but are not limited to:
 

• Visual inspection of products and materials according to specifications to ensure conformity to established standards,
• Compares product samples with specifications to ensure conformance with established standards where necessary.
• Helping with hand operations required in preparing items for dispatch. Such as deburring, bagging and packing of items.
• Help with maintaining and calibrating measuring equipment to various testing standards.
• Great attention to detail and willingness to use own initiative.
• Ability to remain motivated and focused during jobs requiring a lot of repetition.

 
 
Experience

• The ability to use a variety of measuring instruments, calipers, micrometers and gauges would be considered beneficial but not essential.
• An understanding of measurements would again be beneficial. As well as geometric tolerances and the ability to read drawings
• Great attention to detail and willingness to use own initiative.
• The ability to remain motivated and focused during jobs requiring a lot of repetition.
• Possess GCSE Math’s and English (C or equivalent grade).

 
 
Shift pattern: Regular days – 7am until 3pm.
