Multi Skilled CNC Maintenance Engineer required for a fantastic company based in Rotherham.
 
ABOUT US:
Inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.
 
There is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for reactive repairs and proactive preventive maintenance, playing a critical role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of our multi-axis CNC machining centers, while ensuring maximum operating up-time.
 
State-of-the-art CNC Milling machines enable us to finish machine fabricated part and produce machined components to complement our fabrication and laser cutting capabilities. We have a range of CNC machines, giving us the ability to mill, drill, plane, bore and tap.
 
Machining centers consist of DN Solutions bridge type, Hartford Vertical, Hartford Sword SW216 Dual Column, Hartford Super MCMC2082 Vertical, Hartford Pro 1000 (with 4 axis), DN Solutions BVM 5700 and DN Solutions DNM 6700.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Organising routine servicing schedules / PPM schedules for multiple CNC machines
• Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate
• Research principles of machine operation to facilitate repairs
• Fitting new parts
• Carrying out quality inspections
• Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
• Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed
• Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts
• Finding and fixing faults and recalibrating instruments
• Oiling and cleaning machinery and parts
• Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule

 ABOUT YOU:

• Formal Engineering Qualification
• Full exposure to CNC maintenance, repairs and breakdowns within a metal fabrication / Manufacturing environment
• A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
