Jiggle are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join one of our premium clients based Rotherham.
This is a rewarding role, during an exciting time of business growth. This Project Manager role is vital and calls on Technical, Commercial Project and Management skills. There is a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects you will have the opportunity to work on, ranging from defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling and rail.
The successful PM will need to be an experienced Project Manager who is able to build on our already strong relationships and deliver our renowned excellent quality of work.
This opening gives you the chance to join a talented and dedicated team focusing on the build of critical defence infrastructure and development projects. Due to the nature of the work the projects are stimulating and often challenging, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholder providing an excellent opportunity to build upon existing experience and leadership skills to further extend future career opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Project management experience with a wide scope of responsibility to take projects from order through to full production
- To lead multi-disciplined project teams from inception to achievement of desired results
- Provide technically sound engineering solutions to achieve effective results and to resolve any potential problems or issues
- Main point of contact for designated blue-chip customers, ensuring liaisons to manage customer requirements and expectations including variations from original order
- To prepare accurate timelines for all aspects of each project
- To provide timely project status reports and presentations to the Company’s Board
ABOUT YOU: - Recent / relevant experience in a Project Manager role within heavy engineering and fabrication
- Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification
- Leader in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes, systems and associated tools
- Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering information
- Effective in jig design using auto cad and inventor software
- A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
