Job Summary
Hours: ideally seeking full time 40.25 per week - 4 days, including 2 weekends per month (part-time contracts considered)
Shifts: Must be able to work both days and nights 
Shift Pattern: Days: 7:45am until 8:15pm - Nights: 7:45pm until 8:15am
Salary: £30,000.00 to £42,000.00+ per annum - dependent on experience (Preceptor/Staff/Senior)

Job Responsibilities:
Clinical duties will include:

• Provide high quality care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring dignity, respect, and sensitivity at all times.
• Understand legislation, competent in medication administration, patient assessments and observations.
• Meticulous with documentation and accurate with recording information and details 
• Actively involve patients in planning and delivering their care, emphasising partnership and individualised approaches
• Liaise with families and carers to ensure seamless, supportive care and a collaborative treatment approach.
• Act as a key worker to support patients achieving their recovery goals 

Leadership:

• Work in collaboration with the ward manager in overseeing the support staff and overall running of the ward
• Confident to show initiative, delegate tasks whilst able to recognise and manage bad practise

 
Administrative:

• Ensure all clinical and legal documents are completed accurately
• Take an active role in maintaining effective communication with all professionals involved 
• Provide mentorship to members of the team

Requirements:

• Registered RMN or RNLD with an NMC registration
• Experience within mental health preferred or similar demographic 
• Display compassion, professionalism and dedicated to patient care
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
