The opportunity
The Visitor Experience Team at ARV is dedicated to creating memorable and high-quality experiences for every visitor across all six alpine resorts.
As Visitor Experience Officer - Group Management and Events, you will oversee the coordination of group visitation to the resort, as well as support event development and delivery to enhance the visitor experience and ensure smooth and streamlined service.
Under guidance and supervision you will apply established procedures, processes and office practices to support daily resort administration. You will be adept in managing administrative tasks, processing enquiries, maintaining records which will ensure accurate and professional business operations.
- Provide a professional and friendly resort entry and reception for resort guests and visitors, demonstrating a breadth of resort knowledge and providing access to information and resources.
- Manage a broad range of administrative and transactional tasks, including handling of documents, information and point of sale transactions requiring secure management processes.
- Manage the permit processes and implementation associated with vehicle entry.
- Provide a high level of customer service with counter, telephone and email enquiries and concerns, exercising discretion with visitors, callers and requests for information.
- Oversee and coordinate group bookings in the resort including school and community groups, working closely with the food and beverage and retail and rentals teams to ensure a streamlined guest experience.
- Coordinate and oversee event development and implementation, including calendar creation and contractor engagement.
- Work closely with other teams within the resort to ensure streamlined delivery of group and event services, including food and beverage, retail and rental.
- In collaboration with the Visitor Experience Officer – Marketing, develop and execute promotion of the group and event offerings within the resort.
- Manage varied and conflicting demands and situations to meet agreed standards and timelines.
The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type
- Have an unrestricted Australian drivers licence.
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.

Location: Lake Mountain, Victoria.
Hourly pay rate: Commencing from $30.51 per hour + casual loading + super (assessed on skills and experience).
