The opportunity:
As a member of our ski patrol team, you'll have the important task of opening and assessing the cross-country ski areas and toboggan runs, ensuring an incredible day for our guests who are eager to soak up some snow time.
When the unexpected happens, your arsenal of first aid skills will be put to the test. You'll attend incident locations, administer first aid, and evacuate staff and guests if necessary, all whilst providing the highest level of care and customer service.
If you don’t hold Australian Ski Patrol Association qualifications but you’re an enthusiastic outdoors person with experience delivering first aid we have a position for you!
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide first aid and emergency assistance to injured or unwell guests and staff in accordance with training, procedures and supervisor direction.
- Assist with the evacuation and transport of injured persons using approved equipment, vehicles and methods.
- Support incident response activities, including assisting at accident scenes and following directions from senior patrol staff.
- Assist with search activities or respond to lost person reports in accordance with established procedures.
- Identify and report on‑mountain hazards and assist with the opening, closing and monitoring of terrain under direction.
- Install, monitor and maintain safety infrastructure including boundary markers, fencing, padding and signage.
- Operate patrol equipment and vehicles safely, including snowmobiles, radios and patient transport vehicles, in line with training and supervision.
- Complete required operational records and reports accurately, including incident reports and daily snow or weather information as directed daily.
- Work cooperatively with Ski Patrol colleagues, resort staff and emergency services to support safe operations and provide visitor information and safety education
What amazing skills and experience will score you this role? - Current Australian Ski Patroller Certificate (ASPA) or equivalent for Ski Patrol level engagement.
- Current CPR and First Aid qualifications.
- Demonstrated field experience in first-aid delivery.
- Previous ski patrol and alpine industry experience (desirable)
- A LOVE of the outdoors, including rain, hail, shine and of course, snow!
- Available to work weekends and school holidays.
- Available from early June to 30 September 2026 (or close of the snow season).
The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type
- Have an unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.

Hourly pay rate: Mountain Safety Crew - Commencing from $26.92 per hour + casual loading + super
