The opportunity

Our Resort Operations Attendants are our 'Jack or Jill-of-all-Trades'. As members of our Assets & Operations team, their main role is to ensure the day-to-day operations of the resort run smoothly. Daily tasks vary from;
  

• Traffic management,
• Snow clearing,
• Driving shuttles
• Rubbish collection & management
• Cleaning
• Assisting the Visitor Experience team with daily setup and pack-up routines

  
Given the majority of your work will be completed outdoors, you'll need to bring your love for nature with you. We will provide you with snow pants, a jacket, and boots for the season to keep you warm.

As a small, family-friendly resort, customer service is always at the forefront of everything we do. All our staff are required to pitch in and help out across departments to ensure our guests have the best experience possible.

Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is a family-oriented snow play park and has the distinction of being the closest alpine snow resort to Melbourne, just a short 2-hour drive from the city centre. It features over 35 km of world-class cross-country skiing trails.

What amazing skills and experience will score you this role? 
  

• Medium rigid licence (bus driving)
• Traffic management/control ticket (desirable)
• OHS induction certificate / white card (desirable)
• Physically capable of taking on manual labour in potentially harsh conditions.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Effective, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• A LOVE of the outdoors, including the rain, hail, shine and of course…Snow!
• Out-of-this-world attention to detail and safety consciousness at all times
• Flexibility to work in other departments/roles.

  
The successful candidate will be required to: 

• Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights. 
• Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type 
• Have an Australian drivers licence (Victorian licence preferred)  
• Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests. 
• Available to work weekends and school holidays.
• Available from June to 30 September (or the declared snow season)
