The Opportunity:
Are you ready to work where alpine landscapes meet adventure? We’re seeking a versatile and proactive Resort Operations Officer who thrives in the outdoors. This dynamic role changes with the seasons, flexibility is essential!
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver a range of resort operational and support services year-round.
- Operate and maintain plant, equipment, and resort infrastructure safely and efficiently.
- Assist with winter operations including snow clearing, grooming support, parking, and village services.
- Support green-season tasks such as trail upkeep, maintenance activities, and event operations.
- Provide helpful, standard customer service to visitors and staff.
- Maintain accurate operational records and support safety checks and compliance requirements.
- Respond to operational issues and escalate hazards appropriately.
- Work collaboratively across the Assets & Operations team.
Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum 2 years’ experience in operational roles involving plant and equipment.
- OHS White Card.
- Traffic control/management ticket.
- Chainsaw (crosscut) competency.
- Medium Rigid licence (desirable).
- Front End Loader & Excavator tickets (desirable).
- First Aid & CPR (desirable).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
The successful candidate will be required to have: - Full Australian working rights.
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.
- Valid driver’s licence (Victorian preferred)
- Victorian Working with Children Check - Employee
Location: Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort, Victoria
Salary: $60,295–$68,864 plus super, based on skills and experience.
Contract Terms: 12-months fixed term, with the potential to go permanent.
Start Date: Immediate
