Join us for a few days of fun! We need a Kitchen Hand to keep the wheels turning at our epic bike event.
The opportunity:
Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is hosting one of the Victoria’s premier downhill mountain bike events in February and we are on the hunt for staff to join our team in making this weekend a success!
If you’re an experienced Kitchen Hand and who understands the importance of working in a clean and safe environment and enjoy being a part of a team, then keep reading and see if your skills and experience match what we are looking for!
Staff accommodation in the resort will be available for the weekend.
Key Accountabilities:
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of food products, as well as proper sanitation practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, as well as sanitizing food preparation surfaces and storage areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a smooth workflow.
What amazing skills and experience will score you this role?
- Previous experience as a kitchen hand in a commercial kitchen.
- Victorian Safe Food Handling Certificate.
- General Food Preparation Skills
- Available from Friday February 13th to Sunday February 15th 2026
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Have full Australian working rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type
- Have an Australian drivers licence (Victorian licence preferred)
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.

Salary Range: $33.65 - $36.95 including casual loading.
