The opportunity:
Are you ready for an adventure-filled role in the heart of Mt Buller? We're on the lookout for a dynamic Resort Operations Officer to join our team for a 6-month fixed term contract!
Picture yourself overseeing the seamless operation of our stunning resort, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. If you have a knack for maintaining assets and enhancing our beautiful trails, this opportunity is perfect for you!
Key responsibilities include:
- Safe operation of plant and equipment, in compliance with policies and guidelines.
- Development and maintenance of assets, drainage, environmental site management, trail maintenance and construction.
- Participation in land management and environmental hazard reduction programs
Skills, experience and qualifications: - WorkSafe Induction certificate / white card.
- Ability to organise and plan workloads, practical problem-solving capability.
- Ability to undertake manual labour.
- Heavy plant and equipment operating experience.
- Strong customer relations skills and ability to operate as an effective team member.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer literacy skills
- Certifications such as Working at Heights, Front end loader/Backhoe, Chemical User, First Aid certificate – Level two - Desirable
- Additional plant certificates (articulated wheel loader, roller, skid, steer, chainsaw (crosscut) certification (felling), etc) - Desirable

The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights.
