The opportunity:
Support the Resort Operations team this winter in ensuring smooth and efficient outdoor visitor operations.
Working outdoors in the stunning surrounds of Mt Buller, play a crucial role and provide exceptional customer service to our guest in directing traffic, coordinate chain fitting bays, assist with bus stop management and assisting with general traffic flow in peak times.
If you love the winter environment and enjoy hands-on work, are willing to work as part of team in a customer facing role, this opportunity is for you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct drivers to park their cars and ensure the correct parking of vehicles as per training and under the direction of the Supervisor.
- Assist with bus stop management during peak visitation times.
- Assist with the traffic flow during peak travel periods and adverse weather events under the direction of the Supervisor.
- Undertake tasks/responsibilities of other visitor services department roles as directed
- Assist with the chain fittings bays as directed
Skills, experience and qualifications: - Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Previous experience working outdoors
- Experience driving in hazardous weather and road conditions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and oral communication skills
- Traffic Management/Control Ticket - desirable
- Front End Loader with Medium Rigid licence - desirable

The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights.
- Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working With Children Check
- Available to work weekends and school holidays
- Available from end of May to 30 September 2025 (or the declared snow season)
