The opportunity:
This casual position for the winter season offers you the chance to work in the stunning snowy landscapes and be at the forefront of ensuring smooth and efficient outdoor visitor operations.
Managing bustling car parks, expertly guiding drivers, overseeing chain fitting bays and supporting the Resort Operations Supervisor.

Key responsibilities include:
- Direct drivers to park their cars and ensure the correct parking of vehicles as per training and under the direction of the Supervisor
- Provide excellent service to all visitors, stakeholders, and business operators by delivering friendly, helpful, and accurate information in response to enquiries about the resort.
- Act as Leading Hand when directed by the Supervisor to oversee the car parking function, control car and bus access to the Mt Buller Village and lead other car parking crew
- Assist with the traffic flow during peak travel periods and adverse weather events under the direction of the Supervisor.
- Assist in the delivery of public facilities and services to ensure visitor safety and amenity. This may include the snow clearing of stairs and accessways around visitor facilities and assisting visitors with diamond pattern wheel chain fitting
Skills, experience and qualifications: - Minimum 2 years Industry experience in a customer facing role
- Previous experience working outdoors
- Experience driving in hazardous weather and road conditions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and oral communication skills

The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights.
- Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working With Children Check
- Available to work weekends and school holidays
- Available from June to 30 September 2025 (or the declared snow season)
