The opportunity:
Are you ready for an adventure? Join us as a Visitor Services Attendant at the stunning Mt Hotham!
As a Visitor Services Attendant, you will be the friendly face greeting our guests and ensuring they have an unforgettable experience. You'll be out in the snow, managing car parks, assisting with chain fitting at Mt Hotham and Harrietville, and helping visitors at village bus stops. Every day will be different, and you'll be making memories that last a lifetime!
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct drivers to park their cars and ensure the correct parking of vehicles as per training and assist with bus stop management during peak visitation times.
- Manage traffic flow during peak travel periods and adverse weather events.
- Assist in the delivery of public facilities including cleaning, snow clearing at building entrances, rubbish pick-ups and assisting visitors with wheel chain fitting.
- Coordinate chain fitting bays on the Great Alpine Road
- Undertake tasks/responsibilities of other visitor services roles as reasonably directed including outdoor operations, toboggan slope, chain fitting bays, night shift, or assisting at the resort entry check points.
Skills, experience and qualifications: - Exception customer service experience, with prior experience in tourism or visitor information desirable
- Be a team player with strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge
- Ability to adhere to and follow policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of our team and guest at all times

Salary: $32.81 p/h including casual loading

The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights.
- Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working With Children Check
- Available to work weekends and school holidays
- Available from June to 30 September 2025 (or the declared snow season)
