The opportunity:

Reporting to our Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting in line with policies and
statutory requirements.
With a passion for continuous improvement, exceptional communication skills and availability to travel to our beautiful resorts on occasion, you will immerse yourself into this role furthering your professional career whilst maintaining a work/life balance through flexible working arrangements.
Key accountabilities:
- Process month-end procedures, journal adjustment, general ledger and payroll reconciliations, and general receipting functions
- Assist with statutory reporting and external audit processes
- Occasional travel to each or any of the ARV sites and locations may be required
Qualifications, skills and experience: - Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Current membership of professional accounting association (CA or CPA)
- Extensive experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Prior experience in a government or similar sector is desirable
- Prior experience managing a small team
- Proficient in Office 365 or similar
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be an advantage
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Have full Australian working rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.
- Have an Australian Drivers licence
Location:
We have offices located at each of our six resorts as well as in Mansfield and Lilydale. We will also consider fully remote working for the right candidate.
