The opportunity:
We are looking for a vibrant and experienced professional to step into the role of Head of Asset Portfolio Management working across Victoria’s six Alpine Resorts.
In this unique and exciting position, you will be responsible for the development and execution of innovative asset management strategies, policies, and systems that elevate ARV’s long-term planning, management, and reporting with a comprehensive, all-resorts perspective.
Working among a team of self-motivated, like-minded professionals, you will be invaluable in driving implementation of our Asset Management Strategy and collaborating across resorts, through open communication, problem solving and knowledge sharing.

Key accountabilities:
- Lead implementation of strategies and frameworks that drive a whole-of-life approach to asset performance and guide asset investment across the resort portfolio.
- Lead implementation of energy and water management plans
- Lead the operation of the Asset & Operations Planning Advisory Group by ensuring participation across all resorts.
- Implement initiatives, systems, policies and processes that drive operational improvement and enhances ARV’s level of maturity in asset management practices.
- Provide strategic guidance for any compliance related risks or issues associated with resort assets.
Qualifications, skills and experience: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, asset management or related discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience (mandatory)
- Postgraduate qualification in a related field or management (desirable)
- Minimum 5 - 10 years relevant experience in asset management.
- Experience with Victorian Public Sector Asset Management Accountability Framework, asset management systems, compliance reporting, and/or familiarity with contemporary infrastructure management systems.
The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.
- Have an Australian Drivers licence

Location: We have offices located at each of our six resorts as well as in Mansfield and Lilydale. We will also consider fully remote working for the right candidate.
Contract term: Twelve (12) months fixed- term contract
Salary range: $152,773 - $174,869 plus super
