Taking direction from the Manager of Financial Analysis & Planning, you will work closely with the Finance and Operations teams and play a crucial role in providing internal financial reporting and budgeting services, ensuring our organisations financial health aligns with our strategic goals.

Key accountabilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate financial reports each month.
- Lead the creation of our comprehensive annual budget.
- Analysis of the recoverability of service costs and profitability of services and income streams across the organisation
- Support the review, update and maintenance of the ARV Long Term Financial Plan
Qualifications, experience & skills: - Bachelor Degree in accounting, finance or related field (mandatory)
- Current membership of professional accounting association (CA or CPA)
- 7 years or more experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Prior experience in a government or similar sector will be an advantage
- Excellent understanding of best practice financial management processes and controls.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, generally accepted accounting principles, practices and regulations.
- Good understanding of the enabling legislation of the organisation (Alpine Resorts (Management) Act 1997 and associated regulations and the Ministerial / Standing Directions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and skills to be able to convey financial information to staff in other departments in plain language.
Salary range: $106,534 - $117,716
