Olympus is a vibrant 200-seat restaurant in Redfern's new Wunderlich Lane Prescient where the spirit of a modern Greek taverna meets Sydney sophistication. Set beneath a retractable glass ceiling and wrapped around a 50-year-old bougainvillea, it’s designed for communal dining and celebration. The menu draws from Greece’s mountainous regions, with wood-fired meats, grilled seafood, and classic mezedes, all brought to life with traditional charcoal cooking.

We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Sous Chef to join our team and help lead this exciting new venue.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate on and execute innovative, high-quality menus that reflect our commitment to flavour and produce
• Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a culture of learning, respect, and growth
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Manage food costs and kitchen budgets without compromising standards
• Train and support new team members in cooking techniques, service flow, and kitchen procedures
• Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching to build a strong, cohesive team

About You

• Experience at a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef level in large, high-volume kitchens
• Passionate about food, leadership, and creating a great team environment
• Hands-on, highly organised, and proactive under pressure
• Genuinely committed to developing and growing others
