Centre Director – Williams Landing
We are recruiting for a Centre Director to lead a large, well-established early learning service (up to 100-place service) located around Williams Landing.

The Role
As Centre Director, you will hold full responsibility for quality, compliance, culture, people leadership, and centre performance. This is a senior leadership role combining strategic oversight with hands-on leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership & Culture
- Lead, mentor and develop educators and leadership team members
- Build a professional, accountable, high-performing team culture
- Create a positive, stable environment that supports staff wellbeing, performance and retention
Operational & Commercial Leadership - Ensure strong centre performance across occupancy, staffing, compliance and budgets
- Maintain operational excellence and accountability
- Drive sustainable performance and service stability
Compliance & Child Safety - Ensure full compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements
- Lead best practice in child safety, mandatory reporting and safeguarding frameworks
- Embed strong governance and risk management practices
Educational Leadership - Partner effectively with the Educational Leader
- Support consistent high-quality educational practice and pedagogy
- Strengthen programming and professional standards across the service
Community & Family Engagement - Build strong, trusting relationships with families
- Position the service as a respected, high-quality learning environment in the local community
You will be supported by experienced Area Managers and central support teams, allowing you to focus on leadership, quality, and service excellence.
What’s on Offer - Base salary: Up to $120K + super (DOE)

About You We are seeking a confident, values-driven Centre Director who demonstrates:
- Strong experience in Centre Manager or senior leadership roles
- Excellent understanding of compliance, governance, and child safety legislation
- Strong knowledge of mandatory reporting and safeguarding obligations
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Commercial and operational awareness (occupancy, staffing, budgets, compliance)
- Calm, structured, professional leadership style
- Strong relationship-building skills with families and teams
- Commitment to quality early childhood education
- Long-term leadership mindset and service stability focus
