The Role

Our client is a loved and respected name in the heavy machinery service field and with no sign of the workload slowing down they are looking for a Field Service Technician / Mechanic to work out of their South Auckland service centre and cover South Auckland & North Waikato.

What you will be doing

• Diagnose and repair faults across a range of heavy machinery - tractors. harvesters, sprayers etc
• Work indpendently in the field at different sites such as farms to carry out on-site repairs.
• Routine maintenance / servicing when required
• Advise customers on best solutions whether that is parts, maintenance requirements etc

What we need from you

• Previous experience as a Field Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic or a Heavy Equipment Technician
• Strong diagnostic & problem-soliving skills - you can identify the problem and fix it and you're not just a parts fitter.
• Agricultural machinery experience is a massive plus but not a neccessity 
• Customer focussed - you need to be comfortable being in-front of customers in a range of different environments.
• Self starter / autonomous - you need to be able to work on your own and get on with things that need to be done.
