Are you an experienced drainage operator seeking your next opportunity in the civil construction industry? Our client, a civil construction company based in Franklin, Auckland, is looking for skilled Digger Operators to join their team.
  
As a Drainage Operator, you’ll play a key role working on various civil drainage projects across the Auckland and Waikato region. This is a hands-on position, perfect for someone who enjoys being busy and who is happy to get out of their machine and help the team on the ground.
  
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Operate primarily CAT excavators ranging from 1.5t to 20t with precision and care
• Work confidently in tight spaces around existing services, and civil structures
• Assist the team with utility installations and practical on-site tasks
• Maintain high standards of attention to detail in all aspects of the work
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success
• Ensure all H&S policies & procedures are followed, but number 1 - using your common sense to ensure you and your team are safe at all times

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience operating excavators in a civil construction environment
• Skill working in challenging conditions, including tight spaces and near existing services
• Be able to read plans
• A full Class 1 & 2 license and WTR endorsements

This is a permanent, full time position where the days are Monday - Saturday (1/2 day).  You must be able to commit to weekend work where required, especially during the busy summer season.
