Asset Manager

The Role

We are working with one of the leading names in the logistics space to find them an Asset Manager with reusable asset experience to take ownership and drive improvement across their pallet functions nationwide.

What you will be doing

• Taking responsibility for all functionality within pallet management such as processing transfers, maintenance of movement records, stock/inventory control & reconciliation of pallet invoices.
• Reducing cost by improving pallet transfer efficiencies.
• Implementing/improving processes to eliminate lost or delayed transfers.
• Investigating & providing solutions for any disputes.
• Leading a team.
• Reporting & presenting weekly invoice summaries as well as any risks/challenges and monthly nationwide stocktake.
• Identifying any potential health & safety risks.
• Implementing & documenting processes and look for ways to continuously improve pallet control.

What we need from you

• Experience in logistics or supply chain management (ideally with pallet management or reusable assets experience).
• Understanding of pallet control.
• Strategic thinking – we need to you to be able to see the bigger picture and create solutions to solve problems or prevent them from happening.
• Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• You’re able to take accountability and ownership
