Private Housekeeper 
Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $35–$40/hour, depending on experience

Travel: Hamptons seasonally; occasional Bahamas travel
About the Position
Village Staffing is seeking an experienced Private Housekeeper for a fully staffed private household on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
The home is a six-story townhouse occupied by two adults and two teenage boys. This position is best suited for a polished, reliable, and detail-oriented household professional who is comfortable working alongside a larger household team.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the home
Handle laundry, linens, folding, and garment care
Professional ironing
Prepare simple meals and snacks for the family
Follow family food preferences and instructions
Assist with general household organization and upkeep
Work collaboratively with other household staff
Follow established household routines and procedures
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
Provide additional household support as needed
Schedule
40 hours per week, consisting of a combination of longer and shorter shifts.
Three 12-hour shifts
Two 6-hour shifts
Long shifts may be 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
Short shift may be 7:30 AM–1:00 PM
Schedule is provided approximately two weeks in advance
Qualifications
Previous experience as a private housekeeper a must.
Experience working in a private residence or fully staffed household
Strong cleaning, laundry, ironing, linen, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Professional, discreet, and dependable
Comfortable working independently and as part of a household team
Strong communication skills
Fluent English required
Willingness to travel occasionally with the family
Compensation & Benefits
$35–$40/hour, based on experience

Seasonal time in the Hamptons (ROTA 6 days on/off)
