A formal New York-based family with multiple children, ranging from toddler to school age, is seeking an exceptional full-time Nanny to join their established childcare team. The candidates must be experienced and comfortable working with children of all ages.
The ideal candidate is a career nanny with a strong educational background, a nurturing yet professional approach, and a genuine passion for child development. This position requires a highly organized individual who can maintain routines, create engaging educational activities, and support the children's social, emotional, and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive, professional childcare in a formal household setting
• Ensure the children's safety, well-being, and overall development
• Plan and organize age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
• Establish and maintain consistent routines and schedules
• Reinforce positive behaviors and support good manners
• Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel
• Collaborate effectively with parents and other household staff
• Support children's educational goals and developmental milestones
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience working as a private family nanny
• Experience caring for children from toddler through school age
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
• Classroom teaching experience or a similar educational background is highly desirable
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated longevity and stability in previous positions
• Strong professional references
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Team-oriented and comfortable working alongside other nannies and household staff
