Client and Tribeca, NYC is looking for a WEEKEND Mentor/One-to-One Aide for their nonverbal 16-year-old son with Autism. He is in school year-round at a boarding school in Westchester, NY. Candidate must have experience working with individuals that are nonverbal and autistic. Must have training in working with behaviorally charged young adults. Have the ability to restrain and deal with aggressive behaviors on a daily basis. The candidate should be larger in stature since this young man is big/tall himself and requires this in order to ensure safety when in the streets of New York City or out east at the family’s summer home. Candidate must be OK with traveling and working out of the Long island home in the summers, OK with swimming, overnights as needed and must be a driver. Hourly rate, $40-$50 per hour, depending on experience. Looking for a long-term commitment with somebody to become part of a healthy, loving family dynamic, who has a strong team in place!
