About the role - Customs Compiler 

• Compiling & classifying a variety of commodities within the customs tariff
• Liaising with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and government bodies
• Preparing and registering Australian Customs and AQIS entries
• Job registrations
• Providing a high level of customer service at all times
• Troubleshooting any queries with clients and internal departments
• Ensuring consignments are cleared in an efficient and timely manner

About the candidate

• Ideally, a minimum of 1-year experience in freight forwarding within Import or Exports
• Experience in Customs Compiling/Classifying
• CargoWise EDI experience preferred
• Great Customer service skills 
• Customs background or is eager to learn
• Ability to prioritize and manage time
• First-class communication skills - written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Adequate knowledge of Customs Tariff
