Your New Role - Business Development Manager
We're on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the team full-time. This role calls for someone who brings strategic insight, a proactive mindset, and a passion for driving growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• To obtain new customers as per the sales target
• To maintain existing customers
• Prepare Sales Order Forms with the advice of Customer Service
• Prepare quotations for services for both potential and existing customers
• Host overseas sales visitors and national route development managers as required (this may require evening and/or weekend entertainment of visitor)
• Qualify prospective customers via telephone or in person
• In conjunction with Service Department, send rate and service level instructions to appropriate overseas offices of the Hellmann network
• Taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances

What you will need to succeed:
I’d love to connect with individuals who have experience in the Freight Forwarding sector. The ideal candidates will bring:

• At least 3+ years' minimum experience in a Business Development manager role
• Global freight forwarding & selling experience: 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Comfortable taking charge of a situation and of making decisions independently
• Expresses opinions and ideas in a self-assured manner
• Prefers adopting a structured approach to tasks
• Load restraint knowledge 
• Outstanding time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Great communication skills with high attention to detail
