Your New Role- Import Airfreight Coordinator
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Import Airfreight Coordinator to manage national import airfreight solutions. This Sydney-based role is perfect for someone with airfreight experience who is ready to take ownership of results and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

The Import Airfreight Coordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

• Manage national air import operations, delivering seamless, end-to-end solutions for key customers.
• Execute on daily operational deliverables, including but not limited to coordination with strategic partners, liaising with our internal customs department, arranging and tracking cartage, completing job billing.
• Serve as a primary contact with customers, carriers, service providers, and overseas partners.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication, rapid problem-solving, and consistent follow-up.
• Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and domestic regulatory requirements.
• Proactively resolve shipment issues, escalating when necessary to maintain on-time performance.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in international freight forwarding, with a proven track record in airfreight operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Import Airfreight Coordinator experience
• Great communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with CargoWise (CW1) is an advantage.
• A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a drive to deliver results and grow within the role.
