Your new role- Import Operations Coordinator
Elevate your career by joining our Brisbane team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our inbound shipment operations, exemplifying operational excellence. As the Import Operations Coordinator, your key responsibility will be orchestrating flawless logistics solutions that continually reflect our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and industry-leading service.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, your role includes:
- QLD Import Operations (LCL and AIR), coordinating end-to-end solutions for Key Customers (including bookings, documentation, cartage, customs reporting, job invoicing).
- Liaising with Customers, Carriers, Service Providers, and Overseas Partners.
- Ensuring ongoing Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer inquiries, issues, and concerns.
- Establishing and maintaining a strong rapport with customers and service providers.
- Monitoring key operational activities to ensure efficient completion of import duties.
- Identifying and implementing changes to support continual improvement, business growth and the development of best practice SOP.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you MUST possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with an International Freight Forwarder.
- Import Operations Coordinator experience
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of operations, account management, and finance.
- Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience using CargoWise (CW1) is advantageous.
- Strong planning and organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Team oriented, have an eye for detail, willing to learn and see work through to completion.
- Hard working attitude
