Transport Allocator – Lidcombe – Transport & Logistics | Up to $85,000 + Super | Full Time - Onsite

About the Role

• Our client is seeking a Transport Allocator to join their team on-site in Lidcombe.
• This role sits within a FMCG operation, coordinating palletised freight and managing trailer movements between distribution centres and retail stores.
• You will be responsible for planning and executing daily transport schedules, allocating drivers, and ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in line with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily load and route plans
• Allocate and coordinate drivers and contractors
• Monitor fleet utilisation and adjust schedules as required
• Maintain accurate system updates for all freight movements
• Troubleshoot delays and resolve delivery issues in real time
• Communicate with drivers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure all loads are completed and recorded accurately
• Support compliance with fatigue management and safety requirements

What You'll Need

• 2+ years’ experience in a transport allocator or similar role
• Experience working with palletised freight in FMCG or high-volume environments
• Strong understanding of load planning and route scheduling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
• Competent with Excel and transport systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management (or willingness to obtain)
