PM Transport Planner / Allocator – Lidcombe, Temperature-Controlled FMCG, $80,000 + Super

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Transport Planner / Allocator to run the PM shift on-site in Lidcombe.
This role sits within a temperature-controlled FMCG operation, managing the movement of chilled freight across a network of distribution centres and stores.
Unlike a typical allocator role, this shift is focused on planning and preparation.
You will spend most of your time setting up the next day’s operation so the AM team can execute a clean, structured run.

Shift Details
Hours: 13:30 – 22:00
Days: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Upload and schedule jobs for next-day delivery
• Build and plan load runs across a small fleet (3–4 drivers)
• Manage rostering and confirm driver availability
• Book delivery timeslots and coordinate delivery windows
• Prepare and upload run sheets for the next day
• Ensure all jobs are accurately entered into the system
• Liaise with customers and internal teams on upcoming schedules
• Set the AM shift up for a smooth and efficient operation

What You’ll Need

• Experience in transport planning, allocation, or scheduling
• Exposure to FMCG or time-sensitive freight preferred
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• close attention to detail, especially with data and job accuracy
• Confident communicator with drivers and customers
• Good systems and Excel capability
