About the Role
Our client is seeking two Transport Allocators to join their teams across Lytton and Carole Park.
These roles sit within high-volume FMCG distribution environments, coordinating palletised freight and trailer movements between distribution centres and retail stores.
You will be responsible for planning, allocating, and executing daily transport movements, ensuring all loads are delivered on time, compliant, and aligned to service expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute daily load and route plans using internal transport systems
Allocate and direct drivers and subcontractors to meet delivery schedules
Monitor fleet utilisation and adjust allocations in real time
Maintain accurate system updates for all live freight movements
Troubleshoot delays, reallocate loads, and resolve delivery issues quickly
Communicate with drivers and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly
Monitor service levels, completion rates, and daily operational performance
Support compliance across fatigue management and safety requirements
Be available after hours for any unfinished or delayed routes when required
Shifts Available
PM Shift – Lytton: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
AM Shift – Carole Park: 7:00 am start
What You'll Need
2+ years’ experience in a transport allocator, fleet controller, or similar role
Strong understanding of load planning and route scheduling
Experience working with palletised freight in FMCG or high-volume environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Competent with Excel and transport or warehouse systems
Strong communication skills with drivers and stakeholders
Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management (or willingness to obtain)
Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
