About the Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-focused Fleet Allocator to support daily transport operations in a busy logistics environment. You will be responsible for allocating vehicles and drivers, coordinating bookings, and ensuring all movements are planned and recorded accurately. This role suits someone who manages competing priorities well and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine and arrange the daily schedule and vehicle requirements according to volume and requirements
• Working closely with the Operations Manager, AM Supervisor, and the interstate team to help coordinate loads into and Ex Brisbane depot. In addition, the fleet allocator shares the office with the admin team, which is easy to ask questions / get answers.
• Liaising with customers for load requirements ensuring enough time is allocated for staging and loading
• Promoting a safe, positive work environment and aligning with all management objectives and values
• Ensuring key service objectives are met
• Manage and utilize assets in the most cost-effective manner
• Understand and meet all legislative and regulatory requirements
• Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to actively collaborate with the wider team and customers
• Have the ability to adapt easily, and think outside the box when there are problems
• Continually improve the service delivery for the customer

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in fleet allocation
• Sound knowledge of Brisbane metro areas
• Basic knowledge of Google sheets and emailing
• Ability to solve issues with outside-of-the-box thinking, and ultimately contribute to the company’s continued expansion
• Results-driven individual who is resilient, and adaptable, with a positive mindset, and a high level of integrity.
• Ability to handle various projects simultaneously and independently
