THE ROLE
As a General Freight Allocator, you'll ensure every truck runs at peak efficiency, coordinating freight to keep operations smooth and on schedule.

These activities will include but not be limited to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with clients throughout the shipment process
• Deliver strong customer service and maintain positive client relationships
• Manage complex or regulated shipments across different transport modes
• Arrange and monitor the progress of shipments
• Handle documentation and compliance requirements for specialized or hazardous goods
• Support the preparation, packing, and processing of shipments
• Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely freight collection and delivery
• Coordinate with customs or brokers to facilitate the release of international cargo
• Handle General freight at the port of Brisbane

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Eager to learn, develop, and grow
• Strong team player
• Takes ownership and accountability for responsibilities
• Able to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Friendly and outgoing with a customer-focused approach
• Basic computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Accurate and timely data entry
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills
• Organised, self-motivated, and a proactive problem solver
