This is a contract opportunity through until the end of July 2025 with the potential to convert to a permanent position.

We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of a newly created software product.  

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other quality assurance professionals to ensure seamless integration of automation testing into the software development lifecycle. 

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for both frontend and backend systems.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, working closely with developers to ensure issues are resolved.
• Drive improvements in test automation strategies and best practices to enhance test coverage and reduce testing time.
• Perform performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the system’s stability under various conditions.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a proven track record in delivering high-quality automation solutions that ensure software products meet both technical standards and business objectives, along with the following:

• 10+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
• Expert level proficiency with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, etc.).
• Extensive experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong knowledge with cloud-based testing environments and tools (AWS, Azure, etc.).
