AAMG are excited to partner with a privately owned company, with a diverse portfolio of strategic coking coal tenements in Queensland’s renowned Bowen Basin. Due to growth, our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Project Coordinator to join one of their sites on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be required to oversee the assessment, planning, and execution of improvements to the workshop and warehouse facilities. You will collaborate with various teams, develop actionable plans and budgets, secure approvals, and drive the successful implementation of agreed-upon changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review current workshop and warehouse operations, identifying areas for improvement.
• Engage with internal teams to understand operational needs and challenges.
• Develop and present structured plans, including budgets and timelines, for facility improvements.
• Secure approvals from senior stakeholders before execution.
• Oversee the implementation of approved plans, ensuring alignment with operational goals, budget, and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain compliance with company and industry safety standards.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering 
• Demonstrated experience in coal mining industry
• Strong project planning and budgeting skills.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience executing operational improvement projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
