AAMG has been engaged by our client partner to find them an experienced Reliability Engineer to join their team in the coal mining operation in the Bowen Basin, QLD.

As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of key mining equipment, specifically haul trucks and related fleet. Your focus will be on analysing equipment data, conducting failure analysis, and developing proactive strategies to improve fleet availability and reduce downtime. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with operational crews and make a direct impact on performance outcomes.

Within this role you will be responsible for: 

• Monitoring plant condition on the ageing assets
• Develop maintenance strategies for all HME 
• Identifying unreliable plant
• Providing reports and recommendations
• Photo Analysis of plant & equipment
• Provide technical advice

Requirements:

• Tertiary Engineering qualification or relevant trade qualifications and experience
• 12+ months experience working in a site based mechanical/Reliability role focused on mobile equipment 
• Demonstrated experience with Heavy Mining Equipment
• Advanced Microsoft & Excel skills
• SAP experience would be highly desirable
• Ability to multitask and work on various projects
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
