Auto Electrician | Workshop to Field Service | Yatala | Mon–Fri

Want a Monday–Friday Auto Electrical role with the opportunity to move into field service?

AAMG is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join a well-established civil contractor based in Yatala, QLD.

This is a great opportunity for an Auto Electrician who enjoys working on heavy mobile equipment and wants the variety of field service without giving up the stability of a workshop-based role.

You'll initially work from the Yatala workshop, gaining exposure to the company's diverse fleet before progressing into a field service position supporting equipment across civil, construction and mining environments.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for keeping a diverse fleet of plant and equipment safe, reliable and operational.

Your work will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy mobile equipment
• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Preventative maintenance and servicing
• Repairing and replacing wiring, sensors, lighting and electrical components
• Working on civil plant, crushers, screens, mobile equipment and light vehicles
• Preparing equipment for mobilisation to site
• Responding to breakdowns and urgent repairs when required
• Completing service reports and maintenance records
• Ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed safely and on schedule
• Identifying and ordering parts required for repairs and servicing

About You
We're looking for a qualified Auto Electrician with experience working on heavy equipment.

You'll ideally have:

• Australian Auto Electrical trade qualification
• Experience with civil, construction, mining or heavy mobile equipment
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
