Join AAMG as a Diesel Fitter – Blackwater Region

AAMG is currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to become part of our high-performing Maintenance Team across multiple sites in the Blackwater region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your trade expertise into a strong, safety-focused team within the mining industry. You’ll report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and work hands-on with a range of heavy mobile equipment—particularly CAT trucks and ancillary gear.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults
• Replace or repair faulty components as required
• Engage in safety processes including hazard identification, risk assessments, and JSAs

What You’ll Need:

• Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering (Diesel Fitting) or equivalent
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Valid HA/Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
• Proven experience with heavy mobile plant, especially CAT mining equipment
• A strong safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship
• Solid technical knowledge and fault-finding skills
